☆感覚知覚特論（Human Sensory Perception）[2209]

＜授業のねらい及び具体的な到達目標＞

人間は様々な外界の情報を，感覚器から取り込み脳を含む神経系により処理して知覚，認識しています．感覚器の機能，知覚の特性，知覚メカニズムおよびそれらに関する実験手法を理解して説明できるようになり，情報技術へ応用する基盤を築くことを目標とします．
Humans perceive and recognize a variety of information gathered by sensory organs and processed in nervous system. The goal of this course is to understand and explain the function of sensory organs, the characteristics and mechanisms of perception, and the related research methods, and apply it to information and communication technology.

＜授業計画及び準備学習＞

授業は英語文献を使用して分担箇所の（１）和訳説明，および（２）章概要のプレゼンテーションをする輪講形式でおこないます．講義で扱う内容は，色覚およびその他の感覚知覚系のテーマから受講者の興味，授業の進度により選抜します．

Participants are expected to prepare each lecture by (1) reading articles, explain assigned paragraph, and (2) give a presentation of assigned chapter. This course deals with the details of human color perception and the outline of other sensory subjects, depend on participants’ interest and progress:

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

授業中の英文和訳説明（40%）発表課題（40%）および議論参加（20%）により評価します．
Grading will be decided based on your performance of article reading and summarizing (40%), oral presentation (40%) and contribution to discussion (20%).
