建築保存修復学特論（Historic Preservation）[3606]

＜授業のねらい及び具体的な到達目標＞

近年の歴史的建築物の保存修復工事に用いられている技術(伝統的技術、最新の科学技術)について、専門的な知識を得ることを目的とする。
　国内及び諸外国の保存修復実例を記した国内・海外の文献を教科書として用い、海外の文献（英文）については、それを受講者に輪講形式で読んでもらい内容を発表してもらう。各人の発表をもとに、国内及び諸外国の歴史的建造物の保存修復に用いられた技術について比較することにより、共通点や相違点を知る。本年度は、歴史的建築物の保存と利用のための法令と実務の関係について学ぶ。
The purpose of this lecture is to acquire the knowledges　of theories and technics for historic preservation. We learn how to preserve and restore the historic buildings and sites in the recent exact cases. We use the recent documentations in Japan and the other countries for our texts.
Students must read the documentation in advance and prepare the resume and make a short presentation by PPT about the case study.
We will discuss about the differences methods and theories between Japan and the other countries.

準備学習：参考として取り上げる修復事例の報告書を事前に読んでおく
9〜14.　海外の歴史的建築物の修復事例と理論
準備学習：参考として取り上げる修復事例の報告（英文）を事前に読んでおく
15.　課題の講評及び総括
1st : Introduction
2nd〜8th: : Lecture, Recent restoration and preservation theories and technics in Japan and the other countries
9th 〜14th　：Presentation, Student’s presentation of the exact restoration and preservation cases in Japan and the other countries
15th : Discussion

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

輪講形式の発表内容によって、授業の理解度を評価する。輪講に対して、各回講評を行い、各授業の講評を参考にして、自らの発表内容を訂正、充実させ再提出する。最初の発表内容及び再提出の内容によって評価を行う。原則として、両者とも合格点に達しているものを、合格とする。
I will give the advice and review the student’s presentation. After that the students must correct the own presentation and submit the report again. The evaluation of each student’s grade will be determined by first presentation and 2nd report.

英文の文献を読むので、翻訳ソフトを利用した直訳では、内容の理解は困難である。英文による専門用語を知った上でないと内容を理解できないので、十分に留意すること。
