環境行動特論（Environment-behavior Studies）[2214]

＜授業のねらい及び具体的な到達目標＞

環境行動論とは、人間と環境とが一体のものであるとする「トランザクショナリズム」に基づき、その枠組み中から発現する人間の現象（行動・記憶・経験・心理など）を検討し、現在の建築・都市環境における問題や課題の所在を明らかにすると共に、明らかにした知見に基づき環境を改善することによって、人間の「生活の質」の改善へとつなげることを目的としている。
本講義では、環境行動論を通して、建築・都市環境が人間の生活の中で成立し、その環境を利用する我々人間は、様々な特性を有していることを理解することによって、現在の建築・都市環境が質的に未成熟であり、多くの問題や課題を有していることを把握すると共に、それに基づいた環境の改善を具体的に提案できる技術を身につけることを目的とする。

Aim and Specific goals
The purpose of environment-behavior Studies “EBS” is applied for improvement of quality of life “QOL” in the built environment based on transactional environment-behavior relations.
This course expects to get the ability to which participants can propose improvement of the built environment based on QOL specifically.

＜授業計画及び準備学習＞

本講義は、環境行動論の基本的理解を目的とする前半と発展的理解を目的とする後半の２段階で行う。つまり、前半は環境行動論そのものがどのような学問領域なのかを理解するための講義形式であり、後半は環境行動論に関する主要な先端研究を各自が精査し、その内容を発表すると共に、その内容に関して全員で議論を行う発表形式である。
（１）講義形式
講義形式の主な内容は、次の通りである。
・環境行動論の背景・目的・意義・領域
・環境行動論と建築計画・設計との関係
・環境行動論に関する研究手法と実践例
（２）発表形式
発表形式の内容・手順と環境行動論に関する先端研究の解説は、共に第１回目の授業で説明する。

準備学習：授業毎に次週の授業内容の概要説明を行うので、その範囲を十分に予習しておくこと。

Course schedule and Preparation
This course consists of two stages “academic and practical” for understanding of EBS.
The first stage for academic understanding is the form of lecture to understand essence of EBS. The second stage for practical understanding is the form of presentation which is discussed by participants to the contents which are the main researches about EBS taken up.

The first stage: the form of lecture
The main contents are as follows.
・Background , Purpose, Significance and Area about EBS
・Relation with EBS and Architectural Planning or Design
・Method and Practice cases about EBS

The second stage: the form of presentation
Explanation of the contents, a procedure and the main researches about EBS is explained in the first lecture.

Preparation
The outline explanation of lecture contents in next week is indicated every lecture.Therefore you should prepare for the contents sufficiently.

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

環境行動論に関する学期末レポート提出（70点）と中間発表内容（30点）の合計点で最終成績の評価を行い、60点以上の者に単位を認める。

Evaluation
The last results are estimated by a total point of submission on a report (70 points) in the end of a term and the contents of middle presentation (30 points) about EBS. As a result, the participant who got more than 60 points can get a credit for EBS.
