The aim of this course is to improve students' English ability in areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening. In addition, the critical skills at the heart of the Intercultural Interaction course will be further developed.

＜授業計画及び準備学習＞

Students will examine a variety or texts, both written and spoken, and will be expected to discuss the content with regard to themes, topics and point of view, taking a critical approach throughout. Students will present their ideas, interpretations and opinions orally (presentations) and in written form (short essays and reports) and will be expected to provide feedback on the presentations and essays of their peers. In addition, students will be expected to use these tools to explain and answer questions relevant to their own research.

Grades will be based on participation, class work and a variety of written and oral assignments.
