＜授業のねらい＞

The purpose of this course is to improve students’ speaking and listening skills though 1) listening exercises, 2) task-based communication and 3) expression of ideas and opinions on a variety of topics.

＜受講にあたっての前提条件＞

The class is conducted in English. Students must be able to understand basic classroom instructions in English or to say “I don’t understand” in English.

This course will complete Inits 1-8 of the text: Let's Talk 1, Second Edition, by Leo Jones, Cambridge University Press.

If you don’t understand a speaking exercise, ask the instructor or your partner for help. Raise your hand and say “I don’t understand” or “Help me please”.
もし会話の練習で何と言っていいか分からなければ講師かパートナーに助けを求めて下さい。手を上げて「I don’t understand」とか「Help me please」と言って下さい。
If you are having trouble with a listening exercise, ask the instructor to play the audio again. (“Please repeat” or “Could you play it again?”), or ask the instructor for help. He will be very happy to help you.もし聞き取りの練習で問題があれば講師にもう一度聞かせてくれるよう頼んで下さい。（「Please repeat」又は「Could you play it again?」）又は講師に助けを求めて下さい。喜んであなたを助けます。
