The purpose of this course is to improve the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing with particular emphasis on speaking and listening.

The class is conducted in English. Students must be able to understand basic classroom instructions in English or to say “I don’t understand” in English.

If you don’t understand a speaking exercise, ask the instructor or your partner for help. Raise your hand and say “I don’t understand” or “Help me please”.
