○Basic Communication I[3345]

＜授業のねらい＞

本科目は、４技能（listening・speaking・reading・writing）すべての側面から、総合的に英語コミュニケーション能力を伸ばすことを目標としているが、授業では主として、英語でたくさんのoutput活動（speaking ・writing）を行うことに重点をおく。

＜受講にあたっての前提条件＞

英語の語彙・文法について、高等学校までに学んだ内容を理解していること。本来高等学校までに身につけるべき学力が不足する学生に対しては、学習支援センターにて正課外で支援を受け、不足を補うこと。

＜具体的な到達目標＞

英語を用いて論文をまとめ、発表を行うことを中心に行っていく。また、その過程で必要となるアカデミックレベルでの語彙・文法・構文を指導し、習熟させる。これらの活動を通して、研究活動を意識した、研究・ビジネスレベルでの実践的な英語使用を行っていく。

＜授業計画及び準備学習＞

授業内外で英語の教材や資料を読み、それについてレポートにまとめたり、発表したりすることで授業が構成される。クラス全体として発表活動の場や、２〜３人のグループで学習内容の共有が行われるような場が作られる。
