＜授業のねらい＞

国際的に活躍するエンジニアを育成するため、このコースでは、使える英語、コミュニケーション力向上のためにリスニング、スピーキングにおける流暢さ、英語による適切で正確な表現力を重点的に身につける訓練を行う。授業はネイティブイングリッシュスピーカーによる全て英語の授業である。２学年の学生は引き続き基礎的な日常会話を中心に取り組みながら、１学年より多少高いレベルで、英語でコミュニケーションすることに自信をつけるよう訓練を行う。１年を通じて、与えられた課題に対して簡単な文章作成、ロールプレイ、ディスカッション、ディベートを行って、より実践的な英会話を目指す。

＜受講にあたっての前提条件＞

There are no pre-requisites, although completion of the first semester course will help prepare students for this course.

＜具体的な到達目標＞

Students will practice all four skills in English and will further develop their skills in discussing topics in small groups, writing short reports, and giving presentations using Powerpoint.
