＜授業のねらい＞

The objective of the course is to encourage students to communicate about their lives, culture, and interests using English. The students will work in pairs and groups and learn how to initiate and contribute to conversations. Elements of reading and listening, will also be included.

＜授業計画及び準備学習＞

The semester will cover five chapters in the reading book, Reading Advantage 3 , and speaking practice practice using topics of interest to the students.

＜成績評価方法＞

33% of student grades will be based on the results two speaking examinations, 33% on class participation, and 33% on work completed in the reading book.
ATTENDANCE
Absents - Students will fail on the fourth absence.
Lates - After more than 15 minutes late, students will be marked absent. Three lates will be considered one absent.
