＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

The primary focus of this course will be on developing listening comprehension and speaking skills necessary for everyday communicative situations. At the end of this course, students should be able to perform a variety of communicative tasks including giving short presentations in English with fluency and accuracy.

＜授業計画及び準備学習＞

The objective of the course is to encourage students to communicate about their lives, culture, and interests using English. The students will work in pairs and groups and learn how to initiate and continue conversations.
The instructor will interact with every student during each class.

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

Evaluation will be continuous throughout the course. Grades will be based on participation, listening quizzes and four speaking tests. Students are expected to attend class regularly and to participate actively in all class exercises. Class participation 50%, speaking tests 50%.

No textbook.
Teacher will supply all class materials.
