○Basic English II[1122]

＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

This course is a continuation of Basic English I. Students will continue to practice and improve all four English skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) still focusing on input (reading, listening) and building basic English knowledge. Students will study and discuss a variety of different topics of their choice.

＜授業計画及び準備学習＞

As in the first term, students will work in pairs and in small groups to carry out short tasks in English and to practice various elements of the target language. Students will work together with the teacher to negotiate topics and reading material and/or audio-visual material that interests them for study in class and at home.

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

Grading will be based on four main elements:
1) attendance, attitude and participation;
2) homework and assignments
3) a midterm test; and
4) a final exam.
