- <授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標>
- This course will center around the development of verbal communication and discussion skills for students whose current communication skills have been formed within the Japanese linguistic/cultural system Our class will focus on discussion of relevant issues relating to international understanding and communication styles. Occidental and Oriental communication styles will be compared and discussed. Students will be expected to be motivated and interested in the importance of understanding different linguistic and cultural environments in this age of globalization.

- This class will focus on participation and enthusiasm, rather than test results. It is essential that students attend class regularly and take an active role in each class to be successful. We will work hard but the classroom atmosphere will be relaxed and fun. Join this class and become a real global citizen!
