＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

The aim of this course is to improve the students’ general knowledge and abilities to use English across the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. While there will be some reading (primarily for modeling language patterns and for establishing the class’s general knowledge of a topic that will serve as discussion content) and writing (to reinforce grammatical formations and vocabulary), Interactive English A will focus on developing the students’ oral/aural skills in the following areas: greetings and introductions, initial conversations, discerning basic information in everyday settings/survival English (dining, shopping, hotels, transportation, directions).

＜授業計画及び準備学習＞

授業２回で１レッスンを完成させる予定です。
それぞれ１回目の授業がinputの回、２回目の授業がoutputの回ととらえて、inputのレッスンで学習および習得した知識を、outputのレッスンで発表につなげるという流れで授業を進めていきます。

2. Unit 1 Input session & Planning for the output session
　　準備学習：指定されたパッセージを読み、ワークシートを完成させる。
3. Unit 1 Output session
　　準備学習：プレゼンテーションの準備
4. Unit 2 Input session & Planning for the output session
　　準備学習：指定されたパッセージを読み、ワークシートを完成させる。
5. Unit 2 Output session
　　準備学習：プレゼンテーションの準備
6. Unit 3 Input session & Planning for the output session
　　準備学習：指定されたパッセージを読み、ワークシートを完成させる。
7. Unit 3 Output session
　　準備学習：プレゼンテーションの準備
8. Unit 4 Input session & Planning for the output session
　　準備学習：指定されたパッセージを読み、ワークシートを完成させる。
9. Unit 4 Output session
　　準備学習：プレゼンテーションの準備
10. Unit 5 Input session & Planning for the output session
　　準備学習：指定されたパッセージを読み、ワークシートを完成させる。
11. Unit 5 Output session
　　準備学習：プレゼンテーションの準備　
12. Unit 6 Input session & Planning for the output session
　　準備学習：指定されたパッセージを読み、ワークシートを完成させる。
13. Unit 6 Output session
　　準備学習：プレゼンテーションの準備
14. 最終課題の準備
　　準備学習：Unit 1〜6のパッセージを復習してくる
15.学習成果の確認（試験）
　　準備学習：最終課題の完成

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

授業内で行うプレゼンテーションおよび課題を約70％、最終回に行う試験を約30％の割合で配点し、総合して60点以上を合格とする。ただし、出席回数が3分の2に満たない学生は履修放棄とみなし成績評価を行わない。
