＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

The aim of this course is to improve the students’ general knowledge and abilities to use English across the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. While there will be some reading (primarily for modeling language patterns and for establishing the class’s general knowledge of a topic that will serve as discussion content) and writing (to reinforce grammatical formations and vocabulary), Interactive English A will focus on developing the students’ oral/aural skills in the following areas: greetings and introductions, initial conversations, discerning basic information in everyday settings/survival English (dining, shopping, hotels, transportation, directions).

日常生活のさまざまな場面に対応できるよう、リスニングやスピーキングを中心に英語コミュニケーション能力を形成する。
1. ガイダンス、Self-intrduction
2. Unit 1 (Greeting, Asking for personal information)

3. Unit 2 (Talkin about occupations, Expressing likes/dislikes)

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

授業内で行う小テストとロール・プレイ・テストを約60％、最終回に行う試験を約40％の割合で配点し、総合して60点以上を合格とする。ただし、3分の1以上欠席した学生は、履修放棄とみなし成績評価を行わない。
