<授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標>
The aim of this course is to help advanced learners of English to develop their skills to to interact appropriately in global business environments in English. This course will focus both on the content and linguistic aspects of communication in the business world. By the end of this course, students will hopefully become confident in taking an active role in business in English-spoken countries.

<授業計画及び準備学習>
In each session, students are given a variety of activities in which they are to learn important new words and phrases, build up their confidence in taking part in disucssions, and develop essential business communication skills. The topics that will be dealt with in each session are:

1. Course Overview, Careers
Preparation: Go over unit 1 of the textbook
2. Selling Online
Preparation: Go over unit 2 of the textbook
3. Companies/Corporations
Preparation: Go over unit 3 of the textbook
4. Great Ideas
Preparation: Go over unit 4 of the textbook
5. Stress
Preparation: Go over unit 5 of the textbook
6. Business Entertaining
Preparation: Go over unit 6 of the textbook
7. Mid-Term Examination
Preparetion: Look over what you have learned in Unit 1-6
8. Marketing
Preparation: Go over unit 7 of the textbook
9. Planning
Preparation: Go over unit 8 of the textbook
10. Managing People
Preparation: Go over unit 9 of the textbook
11. New Business
Preparation: Go over unit 11 of the textbook
12. Products
Preparation: Go over unit 12 of the textbook

<成績評価方法及び水準>
Students are evaluated on thier class participation/contribution, the quality of presentations (including both small and final ones), and their performance on their tests.
