- <授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標>
- Communicative English B is a basic English language class designed to improve student abilities across the four skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The main focus of this class is to use those English skills more efficiently and effectively in order to communicate in English with others. To accomplish this, various themes from the textbook will be introduced in class to give students opportunities to practice listening and speaking, learn new words and phrases, review using grammatical forms learned to date as well as learn more sophisticated forms. Students will also icorporate reading and writing skills to foster and improve their communication skills. By the end of the term, students will be better able to communicate using English on a variety of topics using grammatical and lexical content and language strategies they have learned in this class. In addition, students will be able to use English to perform simple functions (such as introducing oneself, describing people, giving directions), and use English skills to communicate ideas, opinions, and feelings. The following are some of the specific objectives, in terms of what students will be able to do by the end of the course:
introduce oneself and others describe people's personality give directions to a location state their opinion give a group presentation relate past experiences describe transportation systems describe feelings state likes and dislikes discuss family members state aspects of good health
