- <授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標>
The purpose of this course is to improve the skills of listening speaking reading and writing with particular emphasis on speaking and listening.
- <授業計画及び準備学習>
Week One: Introduction explanation of Course Guidelines first students pair work exercises (Personal Profiles) Week Two: Begin Unit One alphabet geeting and leave taking names and addresses numbers and phone numbers. Week Three: Finish and review Unit One. Week Four: Unit Two possessions personal items locations (use of prepositions) this/it/these/they Week Five: Begin Unit Three cities countries regions adjectives of personality. asking for and giving information. Week Six: Finish and review Unit Three. Choose partners and topics for first conversation test. Week Seven: Unit Four Asking about and describing clothing talking about weather and seasons. Reheasals for conversation test. Week Eight: Finish and review Unit Four. First conversation tests. Week Nine: begin Unit Five time daily activities and routines Wh-questions with the present continuous. Completion of conversation tests. Week ten: Finish and Review Unit Five notebook check mid-year test review. Week Eleven: Mid-year tests (50% of the class) Week Twelve: Mid-year tests (50% of the class) Week Thirteen: General Review discussion of first term grades and summer vacation. Review of course guidelines and use of notebooks. Week Fourteen: Begin Unit Six where people live transportation going to work of school family relationships. Week Fifteen: Finish and review of Unit Six. Week Sixteen: Begin Unit Seven Houses apartments furniture here is/there are/there's no/there aren't anyect. Week Seventeen: Finish and review of Unit Seven planning for second term conversation tests. Week Eighteen: Begin Unit Eight occupations workplacesopinions and descriptions of jobs. Conversation test reheasals and coaching. Week Nineteen: Finish and review Unit Eight first conversation tests. Week Twenty: Begin Unit Nine food likes and dislikes eating habits. Completion of conversation tests. Discussion of final test format. Week Twenty-one: Finish and review Unit Nine. Discuss plan and review for final tests. Week Twenty-two: Final test review and coaching. Week Twenty-three: Final tests (50% of class) Week Twenty-four: Final tests (50% of class)
- <成績評価方法及び水準>
- Grade will be based on the following
(1) Attendance (under 70% can't pass) (2) Notebook (It will be checked twice a year) and class participation. (3) A mid-term test final test and two conversation tests.
