＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

英語で書かれた文章を題材に、精読、速読等英文読解力を強化し、かつ自分の理解、意見、解釈を英語で表現できるようになることを目指す。
The goal of this course is to help you improve your ability to read short, useful pieces in English.

＜授業計画＞

Reading exercises will then be distributed in class.There will be a wide range of short reading pieces of interest to Japanese students. We will cover several tips and tricks to help make reading English easier for you.

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

Your final grades will be based on the effort you put in to participating and the improvement of your reading abilities over the semester.

No assigned textbook.  Material will be provided by the teacher.

There will also be some in-class comprehension quizzes so you will need to bring a couple of pens, some blank note-paper, and a small dictionary (J-E/E-J in book or electronic form.)
