○英文ライティングＢ（English Writing B）[5125]

＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

The aim of this course is to improve the students’ abilities to produce written materials utilizing English writing structures. The students will begin by working on paragraph structure: topic sentence, supporting ideas, and concluding sentence, and progress to essay writing: introduction, body, and conclusion. Various writing styles will also be given attention including: descriptive writing, argumentative writing, expository writing, business letters, and proposals. Reading materials will be used to model these writing structures and to build and reinforce vocabulary. The medium of instruction will be English so as to assist in building the students’ oral and aural abilities.

＜授業計画＞

後期の授業では、前期で培った基礎力をもとにさらに英語表現を磨いていきます。一年間の総仕上げとして、英文を書くことに違和感を無くして正確な英語で自分の言いたいことを表現することが目標です。

授業は前期と同様に、予習・授業・復習の形を重視します。また一歩進んで、学んだ表現（インプット）を使って自由に英語で表現（アウトプット）する課題が加わります。

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

原則として、課題と定期試験で最終成績を評価し、60点以上の者に単位を認める。尚、全授業数の3分の1以上を欠席した場合は、定期試験を受けても単位は取得できない。また、遅刻は3回で1欠席になる。
