○Introduction to Communicative English II[2120]

＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

The aim of this course is to improve the students’ general knowledge and abilities to use English across the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. While there will be some reading (primarily for modeling language patterns and for establishing the class’s general knowledge of a topic that will serve as discussion content) and writing (to reinforce grammatical formations and vocabulary), “Introduction to Communicative English II” will focus on developing the students’ oral/aural skills in the following areas: intercultural communication (critical thinking applied to cross-cultural communication), discussion of social issues, problem solving/working in English, forming a hodological map of the target language.

前期の授業を引き継いで行きます。予定では教科書のUnit9からUnit20までを扱います。前期同様教科書のみならず，こちらで準備する教材，映像教材を用いてListeningの力を養成します。

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

学期末テスト(70点)及び(予告なしで実施する)小テスト(30点)で評価します。小テストは5回実施します。出席点は考慮に入れません。
