＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

英語で書かれた文章を題材に、精読、速読等英文読解力を強化し、かつ自分の理解、意見、解釈を英語で表現できるようになることを目指す。

＜授業計画＞

This class will develop students' reading abilities and encourage further involvement with different reading texts as part of language learning. Students will work through short readings in class and for homework, prepare both written and oral reports on self selected reading texts and work on improving their reading speed and comprehension through assigned class activities. Students will need to be prepared to express their ideas and opinions on reading texts in English in class and will need to be ACTIVE participants to achieve a good grade for this course.

This class will focus on improving your reading ability in English. This class will be conducted in English so I expect you to make efforts to work on all four English skills so you can fully participate in class activities.
