＜授業のねらい及び具体的な達成目標＞

英語で書かれた文章を題材に、精読、速読等英文読解力を強化し、かつ自分の理解、意見、解釈を英語で表現できるようになることを目指す。

＜授業計画＞

This course continues and progresses from the first semester intensive course, with a higher level textbook and increased expectations for language use and critical thought.

As this is an intensive class, meeting regularly, we will be working through an array of different assignments and projects, with a focus on developing students' abilities to think and interact in the target language. There will be weekly discussion based activites, textbook based tasks, set readings, video work and progress checks. The class will be conducted entirely in English and will move through the various assignments and tasks at a fairly rapid pace.
