英語で書かれた文章を題材に、精読、速読等英文読解力を強化し、かつ自分の理解、意見、解釈を英語で表現できるようになることを目指す。

＜成績評価方法及び水準＞

小テストの点数、定期試験を夫々50:50の比重で配点し、総合評点が60点以上を合格点とする。
